Cephalotaxus harringtonia 'Fastigiata'
Dark green, shiny needles radiate along this plant's vertical branches making them look like brushes. With age, the striking, upright conifer produces multiple, bottle-brush leaders & takes on a vase shape. Plants prefer shade & they make dramatic, mid-size focal points, hedges, or clusters. They show good deer resistance too, & when established, tolerate drought & heat well. Has a narrow upright growth habit & roughly reaches 10’ tall by 5’ wide in size, growing 6”to 10” a year.
