COVID-19 Response
As we all do our best to navigate these transitional times, we appreciate your understanding & cooperation with our policies below:
We ask that everyone, customers & employees, do their best to make good choices (like staying home when sick, etc.) to keep us all safe & healthy
For Classes: They are back in our “classroom” greenhouse, with open air ventilation when the weather cooperates. Spacing, masking, etc. will be left up to each attendee’s individual discretion. We understand the comfort & convenience of being able to watch our classes from home, so we will still be recording our classes and they will be posted later in the day on our website (on this classes page) & on our YouTube channel.
Here in the nursery we continue to frequently sanitize & clean shared surfaces in order to help keep everyone healthy. We sincerely appreciate your understanding & support to help us all stay healthy & safe.
I thought it might be a nice change of pace to move indoors this week and talk about some of the outstanding tropical plants that we can grow in our homes. As the rain pounds on the roof while I write this, a tropical destination does sound nice… perhaps with golf clubs in tow and my camera in hand to take a bazillion photos of all the cool plants I encounter… Sorry, got distracted there for a moment. As you consider which tropicals to cultivate indoors, keep in mind that many of them love to do one of two things…
