Elegant columnar selection, highly valued as an accent or perimeter planting where a strong vertical effect is needed. Picea abies 'Dandylion'

A colorful mounding form of Norway Spruce. Small red female cones form on the tips of yellow shoots. Branches arch up & down, spreading to fill space. Relatively short needles provide a fine texture. Picea abies ‘Gold Drift’ 

Adds color to the garden in whatever shape and boundaries the gardener allows it to have. Early spring brings bright lime green new growth. The foliage that is fully exposed to the sun turns a vibrant yellow in late spring and summer. The brilliance continues until winter when the color becomes more subdued. Picea abies 'Pusch'

Named Collector's Conifer of the Year in 2008, this small, slow-growing Norway Spruce, produces loads of bright red cones on many short shoots in spring. The tiny cones brown as they age, but continue to decorate the irregular, dwarf variety year-round. Globose when young, the small spruce develops an upright broad shape with maturity. It is extremely hardy and grows well in full sun or part shade.  Has a globe shaped growth habit & reaches roughly 2’ tall by 3’ wide in size, growing 2” to 4” a year.

Picea abies 'Ripplebrook'

A tidy, weeping Norway Spruce that forms a low mounding shape with age. Soft in color & needle texture, this compact, globose spruce traces its roots to a species native to the Rocky Mountains. An extremely dense Alberta Spruce that is compact and slow growing. When the second flush of growth emerges in summer, the new tips are yellow, a surprising effect that contrasts dramatically with the deep green, mature foliage. Picea glauca ‘Rainbows End’

Superior seasonal color makes this variety  a brilliant addition to the summer garden. A second flush of growth transforms the light green, conical tree in mid-summer into a beacon of bright lemon yellow. Found as a mutation at Iseli Nursery in 1978, it appreciates consistent moisture, good nutrition and an occasional blast from the garden hose during summer to increase pest resistance. Picea omorika ‘Bruns’

A beautifully upright, narrow, pyramidal form with graceful branching and dense foliage. The uniform habit and deep green needles with silver bands on their undersides distinguish this exceptional selection from its species. An elegant conifer that can be used in city gardens and larger landscapes as a specimen, privacy screen, or windbreak. An evergreen that needs partial to full sun. Picea pungens 'Monty'

This bold new Iseli® introduction unites the genetics of two outstanding parents, ‘Montgomery’ and  ‘Hoopsi’.  Monty® has a classic conical Christmas tree shape with a strong leader as well as long, thin, bluest of blue needles. Picea pungens 'The Blues'

Was discovered as a unique growth sport on a Weeping Colorado Spruce and has become a favorite in gardens everywhere. Lush blue spring foliage drapes off of downward flowing branches creating a pleasing waterfall of year-round color. Plants may be trained to flow along a fence, deck railing, or stone wall & then allowed to spill across the ground, splashing against well-placed rocks in the garden. Enjoys a moist, well-drained location. Has a weeping/spreading growth habit & size varies with culture, growing 6” to 12” a year.

Picea rubens 'Lake Street Steeple'

Short, strictly weeping branches adorn the length of this dark green spruce with a tall, extremely narrow, weeping habit. The very unique form will be useful in small gardens in need of a vertical accent with little horizontal space to spare. Staking can be advantageous to insure its stability. Picea stichenensis ‘Peve Wiesje’

Originally found as a witches’ broom in the Netherlands, this dwarf cultivar of Sitka spruce was first introduced by plantsman Piet Vergeldt. Forming a tight, dense glove, it keeps a very tidy habit and has attractive contrasting silvery blue and green needles. Has a globe shaped growth habit & reaches roughly 2’ tall by 2’ wide, growing about 2” a year.

Picea stichenensis 'Silberzwerg'

The name refers to the plant’s outstanding needle color & its reliable, slow-growing habit. The plant’s very dense, very blue needles display a unique reversal from the norm: the two-tone, blue-green effect results from silvery blue on one side of needles with dark green on the reverses. Resists browsing deer. Has a broad upright growth habit & reaches roughly 8’ tall by 6’ wide, growing 3” to 6” a year.
