Sequoiadendron gig. 'Glaucum'
An impressive blue form of Giant Sequoia that grows more slowly than the species & maintains a more narrow form. Alone or with others in a cluster or a line, it makes a majestic, bluish green windbreak, privacy screen or striking backdrop. Has a broad upright growth habit & reaches roughly 25’ tall by 12’ wide in size, growing 15”+ a year.
Sequoiadendron giganteum ‘Pendulum’
In daylight, the adaptable “Dr. Seuss” tree is friendly, with welcoming arms decked out with curtains of foliage. The main trunk grows mostly upright; then it will dip, droop, and grow upright again. Secondary branches also bob and weave, giving the tree apparent movement. Thick drapes of rich, green foliage conceal bark that is thick and fire resistant. Has a narrow upright growth habit & reaches roughly 25’ tall by 6’ wide in size, growing 15”+ a year.
Sequoiadendron giganteum 'Von Martin'
Growing at approximately ¼ the rate of its giant parent species, Sequoiadendron giganteum ‘Von Martin’ will provide all the charm & beauty of the North American native tree in a manageable size. Its compact pyramidal form is densely clothed in soothingly scented green foliage. Use as a single, conversation starting specimen or plant in groupings to create your own dwarf Sequoia forest. Grow in full sun. Has a broad upright growth habit & reaches roughly 10’ tall by 8’ wide, growing 6” to 8” a year.
