Aconitifolium

An Acer japonicum variety known as the "Fern-Leaf Maple". The foliage is deep green & has good substance & texture. In the spring the white & maroon blossoms are quite striking.  Fall coloring is brilliant scarlet tone with some purple & will last longer than most maples. One of the best foliage maples.  Reaches roughly 15’ tall by 15’ wide.

Aurem

An Acer shirasawanum known as 'The Full Moon Maple'  or "Golden Full Moon maple".  Has large chartruese orbicular leaves with bright red petioles which make this one of the most desired maples. The golden color develops when placed in a sunny location. Brilliant orange & red coloring shows up in fall.  A rather slow grower that prefers sun/part shade.  Reaches roughly 15’ tall by 15’ wide in size.

Baby Buttons

A great Acer circinatum that is an outstanding small vine maple with mini foliage. Leaves are a bright green color in the spring, changing to a golden orange in the fall. Reaches roughly 3’ tall by 3’ wide in size, making it perfect for growing in containers.

Burgundy Jewel

An Acer circinatum variety that starts with burgundy red coloring in the spring. Use in full sun to keep the red coloring throughout the summer. Colors change to reds to yellows in the fall. Reaches roughly 12’ tall by 8’ wide in size.

Cascadia

An Acer pseudosieboldianum variety that is a hardy laceleaf type with spectacular structure. Spring color is lime green & eventually changes to golden orange in the fall. Reaches roughly 7’ tall by 10’ wide in size.

Emmit’s Pumpkin

An Acer japonicum variety that has large foliage & outstanding fall color. Has large green leafs in spring that change to orange with red in the fall. Reaches roughly 20’ tall by 20’ wide in size.

Fairy Lights

An Acer japonicum variety that is unique for its color & stature. Foliage in the springtime is a lacy green, eventually changing to a lovely blend of oranges, reds & yellows in the fall. Reaches roughly 6' tall by 4' wide in size, making it ideal for growing in containers.

An Acer pseudosieboldianum variety with new spring foliage that makes a soft entrance with pastel tones of yellow, pink and green. The outstanding and long lasting autumn color display begins with orange tones and gradually moves through wine red and finally fire engine red tones dazzle the eyes before the fire is extinguished with leaf drop, exposing a sturdy, well-branched winter silhouette. An outstanding Acer shirasawanum variety that has a bushy habit & is sun tolerant. Foliage emerges a vibrant bright red in springtime, eventually changing to a rich, bright crimson color in the fall. Reaches roughly 15’ tall by 12’ wide in size.

Green Snowflake

An Acer japonicum that has a weeping form with good color & character. Leaves emerge bright green in the spring, eventually changing to brilliant oranges, reds & purples in the fall. A great option for growing in containers, reaching roughly 4’ tall by 6’ wide.

Ice Dragon

An Acer pseudosieboldianum variety that is an all-season, small garden maple. Spring begins as leaves unfurl blushed orange-red, quickly maturing to green. In summer, the finely divided, delicate appearing green leaves are durable and tolerant of sun and heat. Autumn brings foliage of a kaleidoscope of yellow, orange and red. After leaf drop, the sinuous undulating branch structure is a visual treat during the long cold winter months. Reaches roughly 8’ tall by 10’ wide in size.

Origami

An Acer pseudosieboldianum variety that is a new introduction to the Pacific Rim® collection from Iseli Nursery, this small maple has a globe shaped habit & leaves that resemble little paper cranes. In summer, the new foliage emerges a fresh shade of limey green, which contrasts beautifully with the darker green of the mature leaves.  Fall brings a lively color transition of bright orange & yellows. In winter, the strength & character of this small garden tree shows through its solid structure & sturdy branching pattern. Pacific Fire

An Acer circinatum variety with beautiful creamy yellow & coral red stems that make a striking winter specimen. Has rich green leaves through summer and they then turn yellow in fall. Wabi Sabi

An Acer pseudosieboldianum variety that is a new introduction to the Pacific Rim® collection from Iseli Nursery, it is a small maple with an irregular, gently cascading habit. Finely divided green leaves are decorated for a fleeting moment in spring with upright clusters of small bright red seeds.  New stems are often waxed with a subtle white blush, which provides a striking contrast to the red leaf petioles & deep green summer leaves. In autumn, the leaves change to a mixture of red, orange, & yellow shades.  This maple is useful in garden situations influenced by the Japanese aesthetic style & cultural appreciation of nature’s unpretentious, imperfect beauty.
